Throughout our deliberations on Pararchive, the team has always understood that the articulation of place would be intrinsic to the storytelling tools we would develop. Moreover, the very geographically grounded nature of both our Stoke and Bute partner communities, underline the importance of location.

In digital design, location is often conflated with maps and though maps are an obvious narrative metaphor, we need to understand that they’re just a subset of our elastic and morphing notions of place.
